Thoughts — how to get traffic through social media
Project · PrintFetti — in progress
Separate thought track: how to get traffic through social media — not “I already have a funnel,” a public first pass on the problem.
I understand social media in theory. Without accounts and a publish rhythm, that is hard to prove — and traffic stays stuck on hope plus SEO.
The honest starting point
Life of AI can rank and get cited. Social is the other distribution muscle: people share, people follow, algorithms amplify (or ignore) based on consistency and hooks. Right now I barely have a public trail. That is the gap.
What I think works (first principles)
- One or two channels first — not every network at once. Depth beats fake omnichannel.
- Post from real work — Daily Builds, Dispatch briefings, shipped apps, service pages. Native proof > motivational fluff.
- Hooks that earn the click — specific friction, clear outcome, link back to the long-form on lifeof-ai.com.
- Cadence over virality — a boring weekly rhythm beats waiting for one viral hit.
- Automation later — OpenClaw (or similar) can help draft/schedule once the voice and lanes exist. Do not automate emptiness.
How that turns into traffic
Social is not the destination. It is the front door:
- Catch attention with a tight claim or artifact.
- Send people to a page that goes deeper (encyclopedia concept, Dispatch, project, contact).
- Capture return visits via feed, return to site, eventually email if I add it.
SEO and social reinforce each other when the same encyclopedia / journal / services graph is what people land on.
What I will not do
- Buy fake followers to look “credible”
- Post empty AI sludge just to be active
- Delay all social until the product stack is perfect
Next when I am ready
Pick the first channel. Ship from the next real build or Dispatch. Measure saves/clicks to the site, not vanity likes alone. Document the playbook here so the journal stays the source of truth for the strategy.
